ABOUT 30TEN ART STUDIO
My discovery of the contemporary Art world in 1986, has had extremely far-reaching effects on my life. Through learning to appreciate an artwork for both what it represents, as well as its cultural and stylistic influences or concepts, I had entered a new creative universe that captivated me.
Admiring art most of my life, I studied Art history in Paris.
What first struck me about the power and rapid evolution of the nature of the field were Marcel Duchamp's Ready-Made series, was where I first learned about their profound influence in the art of the 20th century. Finding myself torn between the world of classical art and my creative ambitions to rebel, I finally decided to pick up the paintbrush in 2004; something that has become such a profound part of who I am that I have never been able to put them down since.
Currently living in Melbourne, I have found myself seduced by the beauty, nature, and culture within Australia. The country’s unparalleled cultural diversity and its forefront as the most biologically diverse nation in the world, has largely influenced my work as a direct link with a world of fusion.
